Accommodations

Dayton is about 10 miles (12 minutes) from the Birchwood Community Center and has several hotel accommodations ranging in price from $63 to $129 per night + taxes (14.75% + 4.32%).  Here's a link to ALL hotels in Dayton.

Cleveland is located on I-75 at exits 25 & 27 and about 14 miles (21 minutes) from the Birchwood Community Center.  There are several hotel accommodations to choose from at both exits.  Some are newly built and some are older but renovated.  They range in price from $45 to $200+ per night + taxes.

Birchwood is a very small unincorporated area and does not offer motel/hotel accommodations.  However, there is an RV park close by--Grasshopper Creek Campground--but only has 5 overnight spots; the others are "seasonal" spots.  They have a Facebook page but reservations must be made by phone.  They tell me the 5 spots fill up quickly!  Current prices are $38.24 (includes tax) per night including electricity and water hookups.  Dumping station on the premises.

Decatur is about 10 miles from the Birchwood Community Center and has 2 RV campgrounds.  (They do not appear to have websites or Facebook pages.)

Harrison Bay State Park consists of 1200 acres is about 18 miles (25 minutes) from the Birchwood Community Center and has 128 RV sites with electric and water hookups and 40 miles of shoreline.  Their website.
